our services were well attended
beginning with the early prayer
meeting. Sunday school was held
at its usual time. A beautiful les
son was .-rendered and our usual
crowd was present in full. At
11:45 the pastor preached a heart
touchng sermon from the subject
"Let Your Hands Bp Strong''.
BYPU was postponed on account
H of inclement weather.
At p.m. our beloved pastor
came 'before us again with the
wonderful message of God. Subject:
''And There shall come forth
a rod out of the Stew of Jessie"

ter the various group captammade
their reports, we had a
grand total of $41.00.
We are all hoping and praying
_ for a speedy recovery of one of
our beloved deacons, Bro. W. H.

and went to Florida in hope his

bus firm.
The bus .toured from St. John
Baptist church, Colonial Height to
many interesting spots such as
Main street; Benedict college, Allen
university, Five Points, Veterans'
hospital through which the
group had the pleasure of going.
From there we went to the 'State
Paik hospital where we rest and
enjoyed ./ourselves lunching and
