Last Sunday was Men's day. In
the morning' the pastor preached
from Gen. 2:15. He explained that
man here did not mean mankind
but manhood, male sex. He explained
that the garden of Eden
meant the realm of human possibilities
and opportunities and that
man was not appointed to .ornament
but to keep the garden. Also
that man was the crown o f
creation placed in full, charge of
.all of God's creatures.
The endeavor was to raise three
hundred dollars on the two Sundays.
The reports showed two Vun
dred and seventy-five dollars with
some reports to come in later.
The women, on Women's day reported
about eight dollars more
than did the men on Men's day.
