Rev. Silas Middleton, Pastor
Sunday July 2 was one of the
most beautiful day of the year and
St. Paul held its quarterly conference
at the New Bethel A. M. E.
Church, Ten Miie, S. C.
The Rev. Silas Middleon, our pas
tor, has done great work in con,
structing the church during the
last quarter. He rs the finest minister
that has ever been on recorc)
at the Circuit and is indeed a Chris
tian Warrier whom we are proud
of .
The church was dedicated by Dr.
wha also pleached the dedicatory
sermon winch wis" very inspiring"
and encouraging-.
After such an inspiring, soul re
viving sermon the boards and dif_
ferent departments of the church
made their reports which were thp
best of till ages. Due to the limi_
ted space of the paper this week
the donors will not be published,
but the total amount raised was
$62.22. The pastor was commended
for the many improvements that
has been made. Twenty three full
members have been added to the
church along with several probationers
within the last few weeks,
and all of our annual conference
claims have been raised.
This year has been one of peace
and prqgress. Most surely 'llhe
dawn of a new "era." .?
