all near the- cooling effect that

magnolias and pecan trees. This
will be one of the finest (gardens
very soon; as all indications point
that way. '

One of the most gala affairs of

May 5, 1939, at Happy Haven by
the "Cosmopolitan club of Kingstree,
IS. C.
Under a canopy of dripping
moss and gayly colored balloons,
over one hundred and fifty guests
danced to the syncopated rhythms
of the Night Hawks. The ball
