The Work of the Stat
And B. Y. P. U. Conv
Dear Co-workers: It is customary
for us to scan an article in the
paper and lay it aside without giving
it any serious concentration.
But I hope you will give this article
your careful attention and
and help us make the program of
the convention this year |aU -it
should be. The winter is.over, the
spring is here and day by day .
hour by hour, we are drawing neai
to what I hope will be, the greatest
annual session in the history
. of the convention.
There is every reason why thi?
should be the greatest annual session:
First, we have more information
than ever before as to th<
value and importance of a stat*
Sunday School Convention. Our
corresponding secretary has seni
letters of imformatio-n concerninf
the value and importance of oui
state work and what it means t<
our local conventions and union
Again', our school of methods hai
one of the most far-reaching con
structive, and informing progran
of religious education to be fount
in any state in the union. Also th<
state-mission-board has been givei
the authority this year by the con
vention to work untrammeled ii
.any way by the convention for th
great cause of mission. We shal
expect form the state mtssioi
board the greatest and most far
reaching financial report in it'
history.

Our goals this year are: 3,00
delegates; 1,000 visitors; 500 scho

I am urging all presidents of th
various district conventions to ca
