spoke, is the regional director for
South Carolina, Ceorgia and Florida.
Mr. Howard Hoflins, president
of the Penn School Chapter
of the Hampton Alumni, also Prin
cipnl Sanford P. Bradsby of Schofl-ld

Sanders president of the Voorhees
Chapter, was in charge of the local
program.
Miss Truedelle Wimbush was
re-elected as president for South
Carolina, and Principal Sanford
P. Bradsby was elected Secretary
Treasurer for South Carolina.
The general Hampton Alumni
has already placed at Hampton
nearly $4,000 on a proposed $5000
gift as a student loan fund. This
is to be finished up in June, and
steps have alrendy been made on
a $15,000 *lrive for a scholarship
fund. South Carolina is" trying to
do its part in this drive.

for all these programs was
furnished by Mrss Nance and the
school glee club. By special requests
Professor Thomas Sanders
was asked to speqk on Slavery on
Monday morning, Feb. 13th. We
were very happy to recognize the
presence of the patrons who found
time enough to come out and be
with us. Mr. John Fuller gave a
