Th^ fraternity was organized Feb bers and an advisor. Since then we have increased 'greatly. We, hope to set up other chapters thru out he state this year. THE "C AND D" CLUB (Miss) Mary E. Shippy, Reporter The Chorale and Dramatic club of the Zion Hill school, Pacolet, S. C., held its first meeting for the year Monday, January 9, 1939 at the school. Inspirational devo-1 tions were conducted. Armotion, was made by Miss Flora Wilkins, seconded by Miss Dorothy Gantt j and passed, that the minutes be I read. They were received and adopted. During1' FHe business part of the meeting a financial report was givdn. The^club was very proud to assist in getting new shoe's for the girls basket ball team by donating $3.77.'The club is hoping to be able to help the school in many phases. The dob sympathizes with Miss Mildred Hnrdy and Mpssrs Edw Fred and Clarence Hardy in the loss of th*eir grandfather, Rev. Teter. We had planned to have an interesting play this week. Two of the Hardy boys have important parts in the play and were compelled to be away a few' days. We therefore postponed rehearsals and shall' have the play a little later. We were favored with a solo "My Task" by Miss M. E. Shiffy. Mi6S Louise Wilkins led "My Lord What a Mori rtng"-which was the closing song.
