a few minutes. I am still doing
nicely in my school work. I
spent Thanksgiving at home and
?- had a swell time. They?hud on a
rally and contest at the Rafting
Creek chuh-ch which closed on
Thanksgiving Day. Total amount
raised - was $32.87. My .mother's
classes raised the highest amount

were as follows: the Beginners,
Miss Atkinson, teacher.
$2.00; 1st grade, Mrs; Dennis,
teacher, $2.00; 2nd grade, Miss
Herrington, teacher, $5.87; 3rd
grade, Mrs. Sanders, teacher 50c;
6th and 7th .grades, , Prof. Dinkin.,;
teacher $5.50. They are trying
to raise funds to help erect
a shop for manual training and
a home economics room. We are
presenting a play at the Jackson
high school Camden S. C. Monday
evening December 5, 1038. I am
