Thomas, presiding elders of - the Conference were real fine .in dealing with the minister,, of their districts. The annual sermon by Dr. W. B. L. Clark of Georgetown was a masterpiece..and Rev. W. T. Murray immortalized himself with , the missionary sermon. Dr.- L. II. Hemingway, our new Church Extension Secretary made the hit of his life in speaking to the Conference._Dr, CL_.E. Steward o f Virginia also made a wonderful impression. Dr. T. J. Miles rs our candidate for the bishopric in l'.MO and we mean to stand-by him until he re elected.
