Friday the 30th we bad a football game. The-visiting team was Brevard Hi of Brevard, N. C. The game was in favor of Sims Hi, ti-2. On Friday our boys went to play Mather academy. I'll tell you next week who won but I hope Sims Hi won. Well Bill we have ended one month of school work. Last vdek the Pacolet association and Woman's auxiliary was- held! ^ at Corinth church. It was a sue-' cess and- everyone that attended) enjoyed it very much. . ' j ihe fair began at Spartanburg the 11th through 17 and begins at Union the 17th. I hope that 1 can spend one day at the fair in Spartanburg. The Union county health" department showed health pictures last week. They were very interesting. Hope to write you next week. Mr. Julius Cochran met his untimely death last Friday when on ( the way home from work he was hit by a passing motorcycle and 1 died Wednesday at the Conway \ hospital.
