- The' Rev. C. H. Dunbar, thp son
of Mrs. Margaret Dantzler, Cockle
Swamp, near Orangeburg, passed
away at his home Monday, June 20.
He spent his boyhood and adult
age in this vicinity, as a member

many years he led the jubilee choir
to an outstanding success.
Due to growing circumstances he
moved to Brooklyn, Oratngebune
where he found his. dear beloved
wife, Mrs. Anna Dunbar to whom
was born one girl Mrs. Mageline
Dunbar Kelly. During his early
progressive married life, Mr, Dunbar-supplied
his community with
the best food supplies from his gro
eery store. The? clerks of his
store will always ^remember Mr.
Dunbar's kind activities.. In Mr.
Dunbar's later day^r every depend-'
ing duty faced his anxious hands
especially -serving as superintendent
