It is unfair to them, unfair to the church and unfair to God and yet to some ex-tent the pastor and leaders are resjpopsihlc in put Well, you Tliuy ask me why are they? Well the class leader knows that members are not doing anything in the way of supporting the pastor and ehurch and mos?~ of them are afraid to report such members for negligence of duty, because he him self as a class leader .are not doing anything. And then too when some one reports them to the official board its sad to say and yet its true we have some pastors are afraidTo take action "on them? They are afraid they God will let them -perish. Some?of their members don't go to church irom one year to the other and wherr you- ask them why they don't ?o to choufch they can't give you a reasonable excuse. I think the church is the greatest society on T?arth -so if secret societies cfon't carry them for noth ing, why should the church carry them for nothing? They promised to contribute of their earthly substance to the support of the gospel and benevolence. Bhothren; we can't silpporl a pastor, a presiding elder and meet our general assessment with these deg.d?heads rm board, but if we will stop and unload.one time they will cnmQ back and join again and do better; they Jhen will see that we mean right and Cod will bless us and His church will move onwards and upwards. It's say to Ray but yet Its true the church is not progressing. You still may -ask why ? I'll toll you. The standard is down and the'pastor "and officers are the one^ to raise the standard. t Well, athis may seem somewhat very plain and common tallr brethren, but I think wo have netted -the dead head members long enough.
