It was the First Sunday of the

number of Visitors were present.
The Spnday school was conducted
at the usual" hour by the Superintendent
Mr. G. Brown. The lesson
was reviewed by our beloved
pastor. He always brings out new
light on the lesson.
Our pastor brought us a Soul
stirring sermon_ at, 11 o'clock orr
the subject '{Victory of God's
Army". In the evening he preach
eu us anotner great sermon on
the subject "Trust Cod and* do
Right",. Many souls were made
to feel rejoicing from the preaching
of the gospel.
On last Monday night a Torn
Thumb Wedding was had at our
"fchurch in interest of the educational
rally we have on. It was
directed by our pastor's wife Mrs.
i F. V. Wilson and assisted by Mrs.
Clara Smalls. It was quite a suc^"
cess. !
We are now having one of the
greatest revival meetings at our
church that we have ever had. People
are coming from far and near.
It is being conducted by Dr. L.
Morris Of Charleston; ST~Cr "Dr.
Morris is a great preacher.
Our second quarterly conference
will begin <yi Sunday and end on
Monday night. Our Presiding Eli
der, Dr. T. J. Miles will preach
all day Sunday. He is greatly
loved by all of the preachers and
members of the district. We are
hoping to go over the top as us'

The entire community was
shocked Thursday evening when
_the sweet life of Mrs. A nnio
Pearl Kit by Littlejohn stole away
in death. She was 21 years old
and had bern eonfined t<y her bed
only a few weeks. She was1 a zealous
Christian woman and will be
missed in her church, community
and anion*? her associates.
She leaves to mourn her loss a
husband Mr. Jimmie Littlejohn
one son, a mother, father, five sisters,
five brothers and a host of
other relatives and frionds.
R. H. Forstbr undertaker had
charge and the remains were left
in the Limestone cemetery.
Out-of-town relatives seen at the

on Friday night reported a
very successful session. Among

the fine cooperation given in the
past achievements of o*ur goals
and urged a continuation as we go
