Prater was seriously hurt. The
others, received mir.or injuries.
Those most serious were Messrs
Bcr.ny (Murphy who still remains
in the hospital; Jake and Eugene
Reliford, Rube Geter, Robert Glen
T. Martin. They are still under
the care of the physician
-? Mr. Prater was carried to the.
.hospital at Newberry, by Mr. Tom
Abrams, but being so, demolished
from the wreck, he died .Thursday
morning at 2 o'clock. _
He was funeralzied?Friday 11th
at Spring Hill A. M." E. Z. church
m by the Rev Edgar Rice and assisted
by Re vP. Wallace. A large
crowd witnessed the last rites of
Mr. Prater. His grave was covered
with flowers.
