ien , Day returns as fallows: Dr.
W. Bi Bouler, Rev. I. O. Simmons
and Dr. S. H. Lewis. After the re
ports the brethren had a rounc.
table disctkiwion for tne benefit ol
the district. The most serious
problem we discussed was the situation
confronting Bethel A. M.
?. church of Columbia. Realizing
chat no chain is stronger than its
weakest link, what attects one, affects
the whole, nc/t only in the
Columbia district but throughout _
the connection and being cognizant
of this fact, we, the ministers
of the Columbia district, vot- J
ed unanimously to divide the dis- j
trict into zones, and each zone ja
to sel_ aside a- Sunday called
"Bethel Day". First ;Sunday in
March at 3:30 zone 2 will meet at.
Lexington. Churches c/f this zone
are: Lexington circuit; Double
Branch circuit; St. Paul circuit;
Edgefield circuit and Leesville
circuit. . _
Second Sunday in March at 3:3C
zone .3 will meet at Young chapel ?
Irmo, S. C. Churches of this zone ?
are Irmo circuit; Little Mountain
circuit; Broad River circuit and '
Saluda circuit. ??? r_
Fourth Sunday in March at 3:30 u
zone 1 will meet at Bethel, Colum- .
bia. Churches of this zone are; ^
Bethel station; St. James station; ^
Emanuel station; Sailers Memori- 8
al, Chappelle tation and Stover ''
chapel. All proceeds from these
tallies will be given .to the pastor '
of Bethel station. We are urging ''
everypreached to meet and bring 1
hts- people or a financial represen- ^
tatiq* on his zone meeting; day'. \ .j'
