TOGETHER MEETING.
The Sumter district held its

at Ebernezer church, Mayesville,
of which the Rev; S. W. Fordham
is the pastor. The devotions were
conducted by Revs M; F. Robinson "
and F. W. .Ambrose After which
Jlrv J. SCoe, the?new presiding ?

as being pleased to be asso~ciated
with the members of the
district; and asked that we follow
his program this year. >
RtvvM. F. Robinson was elected
secretary, ancl the Presiding Elder
read the assessments for the
various charges, in order that.??ch
one might know just what is expected
of him.
All the ministers of the district.
were present with representatives,
except the Rev. L. W. Gary, \ ho
was unavoidably detained, and aa-.
reptrd tho plans of Dr. Cue .'md
pledged their support and cooperation.
Dr. Coe has always been a successful
leader, and with such loyal
ministers and laymen as we have
in?the Sumter district, we feel
that with his leadership the district
will ..take its rightful place
among the districts in the State.
The District Conference will be
