Dear Frieiid9:
When \h? lost our boys' dormitory,
the building was covered by
insurance amounting to only $4,500
.00. Wo could not get additional
insuranc-e because of the .age of
the building, Being faced wifb
tho-problem of housing ninetv cdd
young menj $4,600 was entirely too
small for'that-purpose. In spite
of tbaf. fact, we now have a nice
one story wooden building, which <
houses seventy young men, with a ?
large living, room for recreation 1
and assembly.
The equipment in the old build- f
ing representee over $2000.00. We jj
could get only $750.00 in insurance
on the contents. We have furnished
the present dormitory at 6 to
tal cost of over $2000.00. In ?thei j
\yords we find ourselves in need
of $900.00 to pay these bills. Venturing
with prayer and forethought.
1 am offering those ladies
and gentlemen, who feel disposed
toT.o so, an opportunity to
help us raise the nine hundred
dollars.

ail effort to train the head, the [
heart and the hand. We hope that
our friends in Bamberg coynty and
elsewhere in South Carolina will
send donations to help us to get
the nine hundred dollars. SmaTF
check's are welcome, large/ones

five hundred dollars.
