The Pre-Thanksgivlng services
were conducted by Miss Victoria
Frazier, second grade teacher. At
the usual vesper hour each student
read a verse of thanks from
the Bible. Teachers also took advantage
of this service apd each
uttered a verse of thanks. The climax
was reached whe0 Miss M.
Perry recited an original poem.
"You cannot be happy unless you
make some one else^ happy." Prin.
Shanklin.
The people in tl>is community
have decided to put the above
statement into practice. On Thanks
giving day thoSb who d<J not have
are supposed to dine with those,
who have. This special effort is
made with the hope that the
Thannksgiving spirit will prevail
throughout; , I
