a cake. Four students won a delicious
potuid cake.- Each student
also prese nted his problem and the

is to assist in supplying necessary

to teach pupils how to act, on the
stage, in plays, and in company.

Sunday will long be remembered
as the shower day at Allen
chapel. The church was unable
to seat the people at the three services.

round the vicinity of Estill, altho'
being greatly handicapped, the tea
chers are trying to even accomplish
a greater aim than ever be- I
fore, The present handicap igMuis

term s closing. Preparations are
now being made to reconstruct a
building as before for scholsatic
activities.
*The school is highly again elevated
with the. addition of- two efficient
teachers. The new ones

Denmark, a .recent ygraduatfe of
State college, Orangeburg and
Miss Conine Douglass of Hendersunville,
N. C., a graduate of Mcr
lis college and Spelman college.
The former one is the primary tea
cher and the latter filling the
Home Economic seat.
