Dr. M. R. Kennedy was seen in
the city Sunday. He was visiting
Miss Jennie L. Green who before
coming to this city to work was the
first Negro County Health nurse
of Beaufort county. She had a
State Scholarship in Rural nursing
at the Medical college of Virginia.
She is now employed at a
rpst cure sanitoriuni for whites ,
in this city.

Miss Cornelia Burgess has returned
home after spending a week
with her friend, Miss Hattic Miles
in Johnston, S. C. She reported
a pleasant stay.
