The Sunday School and A. C.
E. League of the Spartanburg district
held its annual convention at
Santue, S. C., at Thomas chapel
R. M. E. church, July 22-23; Rev.
W. J. Robinson, presiding elder.
The meeting was called to order
at 11:30 by Presiding Elder Robinson.
The church was filled with
eager conventional spirit. Devotions
we to conducted by Rev. Dawkins
and Rev. Thompson. Prayer
by Rev. Copeland. "Elder Robinson
appointed committees and
organized the group for enroilinent
and registration. After a
brief business meeting dinner was
served and everybody dined sufficiently
and enjoyed the good
food prepared by the people of
Santue. Rev. and Mrs. E. A.
Adanisv, and Rev. Sanders Lewis
came and also1 enjoyed a nrce dinner.
At 2:30 the group re-assembled
and Rev. Robinson introduced tin
Revr E. A. Aams and Rev. Lewis.

Hall made an inspirational talk
Rev. J. M. Dawkins spoke frqm
that was enjoyed by all.
