P. O. E. of W. has been holding
some very encouraging and bene
f'icial meetings recently. At tne
last meeting in June, Dr. J. P.
Reader, pastor of Zion Baptist
church was present and addressed
the Bills in his usual jovial and instructive
manner, which was enjoyed
by all. This was repeated
on the meeting in July in a double
barrel way. Drs. S. II. Lewis,
pastor of Bethel A. M. E. and
L. C. Jenkins, pastor of Union
Baptist churches were present and
gave addresses to th^ Bills which
inspired all present.
At the July meeting the Exacted
Ruler, Willis C. Johnson, manager
of the Johnson-Bradley funeral
home was absent on account

After the meeting everybody en
joyed themselves 'eating watermelon.

Lake Murray.

prOsdent and Mrs. R. L. Peguese
the efficient Sunday school district
Supt. had things well in hand to
make the picnic a grand affair,
A lovely spirit of cooperation,
an appreciation for supervised out

this not only a mammoth picnic
but one of ideal order and enjoyment.
