The regular morning services
i began at 11:25 a.m. with the members
of the society in charge of
the memorial sreviee. After this
service which was very sacred and
touching, the pastor tock full
ehrtrge. He used as bis text these
words What will ye do in the solemn
day? Hos^a 9:5, subject The
Solemn Days of Life. H'e preached
as one having full authority.
All enjoyed the message and rejoiced
in the God of their salvation.

We are more than happy to
know that Miss Anm'e Mae Henderson
who was very ill a few
weeks ago in Asheville, N. C. is
home and is much better. {She
was unable to walk for a while
but now she 's walking right along.
And we are hoping that
within the near future she will be

social Wednesday night when
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Russell
was host and hostess to one of the
grand social affairs of the season
at their home on Main -street.

helped made the affair very enjoyable.
