MEETING OF THE BRONZKMEN
The Uronzcmen hold their month
ly meeting irt the home of Mr,
James Wilums 2U00 lleidt street,
July G. The meeting was culled
to order by the president. After
the house came to order the disbursement
for the dance that was
held at the township auditorium
was read by the secretary. There
were one thousand, two hundred
and live persons that danced by
the tune of Jimmy Gunn and his
drill serenaders. The lights were
low and the cool breejft* that blew
in and around the building madt
it pleasant for the dance lovers.
Mr. Jim Bel! spoke to the club
on the importance of each member
of the club. His words were
as follows: Never think yourself
whoever you are of small importance,
never think it is of little
j account whether you ape good or
bad, or what your example is to
othersr-4dach mere particle or atom
is an active agent to1 tht* whole
universe. So each of us is of importance
in our sphere, however
isolated and insignificant that
sphere may appear to be.
A few particles of (lUst 'tii a
watch wil' stop its motion; small
barnacles on a ship's bottom will
hiiider its journey; and a little
rfliifting saint""in the great ; river
will change its currenT/" S<>7 we"
must exercise our influence.
The wort 1 is moved by great forces,
great men and great enterprises..
Small things held aW.
Kvery man has his post to do in
the great work of the world, and
every man has his part to do in
the club. Kvery gin! and boy and
every man and woman i-s of importance?how
important nobody
knows and perhaps nevtjr shall
know until eternity^reveals it.
There ought to be in this truth
great encouragement and great
comfort to all who think that they
xrre~ insignificant and have no work
to do n this busy world. Perhaps
in the distant future many a man
vyh?? estimated himself great shall
be found to have been insignificant
because- of unfaithfulness 'to
his trust; and many anothi r man
who perhaps thought himself of.
