a BETHEL A. M. E. CHURCH S. H. Lewis, Pastor Stinday is designoted "Father'b Day." We are expecting full congregations for both morning and evening services. A very appropriate program has been arranged for both services. Sunday school met at the usual hour with officers and teachers in their places. A very b eautiful lesson. After which Mls^ Edn>. , Adams gave a splendid review of the lesson. The Sunday school pic nic will be had in a very few days at some private resort. Third Sundays are set aside for Junior Church Day. These services are very attractive for many reasons. The pastor's subject was The Final Commence ment. A well developed sermon. The ACE League is progressing 'Under the presidency of Mr. H. W. Webber and staff of officers. TABERNACLE BAPT. CHl'RCH Rev. W. M. Watson, Patstor --Greenville.?S.S. at usual hour opened by the Supt. Mr. Richard Bradley. Large attendance; and several visitors. At 11:110. Rev. Watson preached a great sermon. The Senior Missionary rendered a great program. Davis spent the week-end with sister and brother in law Mr. and Mrs. Jim Watts of Cross Hill. Mrs. Leila Speaks was called to Belfast settlement on the 19 on account of the death of her brother, who was killed in the torm near his home. O. COPE NEWS. Sunday was u high day around Cope.
