Quite a number of . graduates came from various parts of the state to enjoy the happy "got-to-gethor." Dr. Roseoe Wilson, who came into the presidency after the death of Mr. W. W. -Wilkin*, pies.'ded with ease and dignity. Several items of vital importance to the Alumni' were presented and discu'sed. Representatives from the v'ai'ous ^clubs n\ade pleasing repotts of their work and gave expression of their will'ngness to help push forward the interesting plan's lot another year. We take this opportunity t i make special nnni/oii of our. idul.. af** Anderson, (Jreenvilje, Union, Florence, Philadelphia, Orangeburg.'and Sumter. These have kept the true Claflin spin t evidenced by the reports .which they gavte. While the financial reports were not as . large as those of ':1G we feel that the spirit of cooperation that chaiacteri/.cd our meet ing? will eventually bring much *>&H cess. The ^.lumni Reception followed immediately after the Annual Mil* v scale was greatly ir.joyed by a large crowd. It.has won its place as one of the outstanding t'eatures of the Comnuncement season.
