the clatter of the merry voices reminded

Long before 9:00 o'clock the
house was crowded with friends
from, various parts of tin' state,
and the library with its many
tables were laden with gorgeous
gifts of all kinds, especially should
we mention the linen, cutglass and
silver.
At ton o'clock the , chimes attracted
