from his seat to which ever player
who might be lucky enough to

The young men immediate relief
association met in its annual
seivice at the Nineteenth Street
IVaptist church last Sunday nite.

In the King and Queen contest

school where Mr. T. F. Brewer is
the efficient principal,. Miss Irene
Brown of the 6th *jjrade was
crowned queen and Master Louis
Brewer of the 5th grade, King.
These young people deserve commendation
for their creditable
work.
The play "Manhattan Honeymoon"
presented by the Elemental

night, was quite a success. Prof.

both keenly alert young people.
The very atmosphere around
the lovely home of Mr. and Mrs.
J. C. Brewer seemed to be charged
with hospitality on Sunday
when Misses Dora and Thelma
