The Kappa colors, crimson and cream, were draped artistically over an area which hid the entire ceiling. It was just like a garden transported there. The Orchestra was seated at the left of the gymnasium on a plat? form and the Kappa emblem._ was directly opposite the right entrance - behind which stood two pine trees and branches. In the center of the floor stood a trough, above which was sus pended a huge cake of ice, hollowed out in the center li]<e a bowl into which punch was poured. Sandwiches, cakes, and candies were served by the Scrollers. Cream bnfloons bearing the name of the Chapter of the Fraternity were given to each guest. Many other souvenirs were given also. Attractive hand-painted Kappa paddles were given 1? the members of the Chapter arid their?guests.Mrs. M. J. Fai ls, the Dean of Women was giv#h a hand-painted Kappa Insigna.
