Prof. J. Andrew Simmons, princi

that other high schools and college

inah.'ily to stay through. The
occasion was Passion Week' and
we had to be at our chureh post.
A Fine Suggestion 1
When Dr. T. J. Miles, viop.'pres-J
Ident of the exerutive board of
Allen university took advantage of
. (
the state meeting to call an extra
session of the board it was a
capital thought, and proved that
lie has the state's interest?iat
Ler present to transact legal busi- '
ness without any traveling expense
to be taken care of by the
board. But a thoughtless chairman
would not have made use of
such an opportunity. Ho would
have issued a cell so that he and
the numbers could have gotten
then lares. But some body must
shy and stop more from going
out than coming in. llats oil' to
Dr. Miles for his tine considera- ;
ubn of our poor, struggling ministiy
and laity. We have raised,
.almost enough money for Allen
university to pay for that Town
