This color scheme was carried out very effectively during the entire evening. Lo^ly prizes, guest towels were presented. Miss Mamya Shumate and Miss Belle Bright received first and second club prizes. Miss Nelle Wardsworth low" score club prize; Mrs. Lyda Williams and Mrs. Ethel Percival received top score and . low score guest prizes respectively. Witty Valentines were given each member, as favdfrs.. The hostess served a delicioua course of shrimp salad, saltines, assorted sandwiches and fruit punch. The Mystic club and guests enjoyed the warm hospitalities ?of their hostess, Miss Beatrice Shumate when she entertained at her home On Rutherford St. last Friday evening. The hostess also presented Mrs. Abbie Chappelle. the storekeeper, a lovely linen handkerchief. A delicious course of chicken sal ad, saltines, potato chips, pickles and hot coffee with cream was served. YOUNG MEN CHURCH CLUB Lake City, S. C.?The contost that was given by the club in the interest of the A. M. E. church, came to a close Sunday night. The total amount raised was $14.30. Mr. Frank Dupree reported the highest amount; he was crowned the most popular man in the club. . The membership is increasing at each meeting.
