Watch placards for the date, please. Pickens County Teachers' association met Saturday, at the -> Pickens County Training school, with devotions conducted by the CJhaplain, Rev. Lawton. After which, the President took charge The groups went.to their respec? tive class rooms for?demonstra tions which were conducted by Mesdames Otto Singleton and C. Burgess. Both ladies had spent much time in carefully preparing their demonstrations which were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Miss V. Waters, the Jeanes teacher, gave a very instructive talk on . the "Unit Method in Teaching.' She also gave the teachers two manuels each that would be of * Srreat assistance in their work. Dues were collected for the State Teachers' association which is to be sent in before the 10th of February. We were happy to have visitors and trust that Miss G. M. Owens and Mrs. Hattie Collins will visit again. Mr. W. M. Scojt of Calhoun was elected as delegate to State Teacn ers' association. After the meeting the Pickens County school sdrved lunch which was enjoyed. Everyone enjoyed the meeting.
