Nurse Blanche Sowell . of the X
State Tuberculosis association visited
Ciartndon County during the flatter
part of the past year. '. . '
While in the county Nurse /Sowell
went into the homes of the people
who have active cases of tuberculosis
and taught the people
the care of the -patient and how
to prevent the spread of the disease
in the home. The homes of
the contacts were also visited. ?
Tht? High school children were
given the tuberculosis test. This
proved very valuable information
in checking the diseased and in op!

: need of a permanent county nurse.
Several of the High school children
