where the good old summer time
is gone and the once beautiful
autumngj tints of the trees is
painted a glistening white by the
sizzling snow. Here we have a
beautiful scene of what can happen
in a few days. The area is

ts ol snow as the mercury crawled
down to zero. On yesterday
we experienced our coldest day of

dwindled toward dusk took a dive

as it dropped to a few points
below.

considered by the many guests one

out menus for a Turkey Day dinner
ever witnessed at such an occasion.

covered with beautiful coats of

way. We were compelled to keep
two shifts of cooks going from
Wednesday afternoon until Thursday
in order that the 240 pounds
of turkeys, and other things on the
menu be ready for the day. The
dining hall was neatly decorated
