Reverend Lew preached an inspirational sermo His text was taken from St. Mai :22 anu his subject was "T1 Victorious Faith." Many sou were stirred by this sermon. The League opened at 6 P. J with Mr. Webber in charge. T1 topic for discussion was "Mov Morals" and "How to Increase Oi :r League Membership." We are hoping that next Su: day, November 27, a larger nur ber will be present. C.?Religious ac tivities at Enfmanuel on last Sunday were indeed inspiring. The pastor preached at both services and the attendance was good. This being the last Sunday, in this conference year, the pastor preached ^ his "fapowell'1 sermon apd a large ^ number of Emmanualites and friends heard him. 3 In the afternoon, the Interdenominational Ministers Union held services in Emmanuel. A great and e' powerful gurmon was delivered by the Rev. Mr. Hughes, of St. Mark 3r P. E. church. A splendid audi11 ence heard him. Music for the oc(L casion was furnished by Ebenezer " A. M. E. choir with Mrs. Inez r' Temple at the organ. The attendance during the Sunv day school hour was not as usual. ' The weather was somewhat cool and perhaps the change account' ed for this. However, a very tine and interesting session was held.
