EBENEZER A. M. E. CHURCH C
- t
; Rev. J. C. James, Pastor h
The services at Ebenezer on last j
Sunday were cqrmqiendable. The n
attendance was extraordinary es- c
pecially due to the fast that our ^
beloved most honored and noble t
bishop, the Rt. Rev. J. S. Flippei ,t
was in our city. The attendance t
at our services both morning' and v
night was not-mafjjed by his pres*..
ence at all, in our city.- V After
the usual preliminaries, a noble
and powerful sermon was deliv- .
ered by our pastor. His sermon
was taken from St. Luke 23:33, j
the theme was "The Three Crosses".
In his elocution of the ser- ?'
, rnon, he set our souls in a flame
of-that hallowed fire. At the conclusion
of the,, sermon, every true
Christian expressed himself as ,
having enjoyed his coming to wor
ship this morning. ' _
. . The attendance at Sunday school
was extraordinary due to the fact '
the inclement weather didn't bat
the stormy brigades from coming ...
. The lesson was interesting and _
enjoyed e>y all present.
