The text v.'as selected from 1st Timothy G:1'J with the subject "Foundation". His text was beautifully outlined and del Jivered with power ar.d divine inspiration. At 3:30 the S. S. convened with fine attendance. The regular teaching of"iessoii was dispersed with and we had blackboard drawing and teaching of the Old Testament by- the pastor, Dr. J. \V. Murph. . Much information was gleaned therefrom. At the evening hour of worship the message was delivered by the 1 pastor as the presiding elder.was , little late getting in. Misses Louise Bouie and Creola Boyd had a .sermon preached by Lev. T. H. Ringer. And the good folk from Irmo were here in full. . The choir from Macedonia Baptist church rendered good nvusic. The collection was fine. Brother Daniel Lyles passed to the great beyound . Friday night and was laid to rest Saturday. He was 80 years of age. We hope it is our loss but heaven's gain.
