Lewis and his good people from Bethel were with us. Bethel choir rendereo fine music, and a powerful sermon was preached by Dr. Lewis, listened to God's servant. Our sick folks are improving, Mrs. Rosemond and Mrs. Baxley. Mr. Austin and Miss Dorothy lliekson were married last Thursday night at the bride's home, by her pastor, Rev. P. E. His text was found Psalm 41:1-3. He used for his subject "Blessings for the Charitable Man." 6 Mrs. Lemon and family are home again after spending a pleasant stay at Edgefield and Columbia. Mrs. I.ucinda Gibson and children, Luther, Jr., Winnie and Bradwell have returned to their home in Philadelphia after spending sometime with Rev.'anc^ Mrs. D. P. Adams and family, the former's parents. _ Dr. and Mrs. E. C. Eccleston have returned to their home Orlaiula, Fla. after visiting the letter's mother, Mrs. Alice .Doyley. Mrs. Eva M. Misses Mary Lykes, Florence Lykes and Mr. Ben Lykes are home again after spending a long vacation with their grandparents at Bradley, S. C. . *. Dr. Lilian Sartor gave a health talk that made a wonderful impression upon the hearers The opening sermon was preached ' by Rev, J. S. Johnson who used as a text Jeremiah 8:8." Recess. The afternoon-praise service was conducted by Miss Etta Hart, Mesdames L. M. Gilder and Ella R. Johnson of the Newberry district. Mrs. Maud McCllend delivered a very interesting and well prepared address on the subject: "The Place of Missions on the Church Proyrain", The President's Annual address was the crowning feature s of the meeting.
