Lewis! He was so surprised he

a surprise as he did ot have
the least idea of such a gathering
as Mrs. Lewis had all of her
rooms torn to pieces all day but
when he returned he fopnd every
thing quite changeable. Mrs. Adline
Smith, one of the oldest
members of .the church presented
him with a Ttanffcsome gray suit,
given, to him hytha. members. Hp
also received many other useful
^gifts. Rev. Lewis made timely" remarks
and gave: many thanks.
The hostess served potato salad,
Saltines lemonade, banana ice
cream, with plain cake. Th>o

and all retired.
