The Sunday , > school was well represented at 10 a. m. After the various teachers had taught their classes, Rev. w Lewis reviewed the lesson. At 11:15 a. m. a large crowd was present to hear the wonderful message preached by Rev. Lewis. This message was taken from Matt. 28:20 and the subject was ine leaeners' rasK." At 7:30 p. m. the Vacation Bible school program was had. The y_tmng folks rendered- a good-pro? gram. The address by Professoi k -Beck, principal of Howard High schoolj Georgetown was'Vs^eciaily interesting. The A. C. E. League opened at 6:30 p. m. with Mr. Martin in charge. After the devotions the people passed to their places of instruction. When the classes reassembled, Miss Portertield took charge of the program. They are invited to come | again. Everyone is getting ready -for the Sunday school picnic on June 30th. We slipped away from the old routine of service at 11:30. Instead of Rev. Miller preaching Mr. | Eugene Bowling spoke from Exodus 14:3. Theme was "Wilderness I > | * Unrest". Rev* Bowling brought out many interesting points and -showed- 4he value of faitlw League hour was unusually interesting. Many members' and friends were present. A choral club has been organized which has added much to chapel -service. Each chapel exercise^brings a surprise. Curry, Jr. rendered a saxophone solo which Elder D. S. Cur-ry-gave a beneficial <4alfc on "The Greatest Teacher." In order to be a great teacher one must be master of himself. Great teachers are born and their thoughts are centered around the development of the child. A special group meeting was called Saturday morning, and the greatest surprise of the week was the visit of Mrs. RAssie A. Goldsmith, Jean Teachert Green ville County, who is now studying 1 at State college. She brought -greetmgjr -from--the -college---ami gave a short outline on the work of the teacherft.
