grand. The evening service was

On last Sunday morning the usual
preliminaries were conducted
after which the pastor delivered
a wonderful sermon which was enlightening
as well as inspirational.
A large congregation of members
and friends was present and seemed
to have enjoyed the -morning
services.
We were glad to sey such a large
number of scholars during the Sun
tiafc- school period. lWp arc still
having- wonderful, and instructive
lessons. Last Sunday's lesson,
"Jesus Teaches Forgiveness, Humility
and Gratitude," was a lesson
of great bearing. This lesson
text may be found in the seventh
chapter of St. Luke, first to
ninteenth verse inclusive. The
time was interestingly , spent.
There were six accessions. We
acknowledged the presence of Miss
Sarah Finley of Mt. Zion" A. M.-Th
Sunday school. .
The eveninir service wis inn,., <1
uplifting. Our pastor again camp
before his people with a burning
message. At the usual time the
Lord's Supper was administered to
a large number similiar to that of
the morning. There were two accessions,
Georgianna Mahoney and
William Richardson. There were,
several visitors with us. Among
those'who worshiped with us were
Mrs. 51. A. Sanders and Her- two
friends, Misses.. Tilson and Dovaux.
Miss Tilson hails from Bennettsville,
S. C. Miss Dcveaux of
this city. Mrs. Sanders is the
wife of Rev. M. A. Sanders, a successful
presbyterian minister,
