Easter services at Emmanuel
were fittingly emphasized. At. tlu
early morning worship a large attendance
was seen. This enormous
gathering heard an impressive-message
from the pastor. A

the converts all. dressed in whin
assembled around the chancel
Sixteen persons v^?re read into
the church. A number__of these
were baptised. This number is
the result of our revival meetings
which .terminated on Friday night
embracing Easter.

After the preliminaries Rev.
Thomas introduced Sister Ella
Ashley, an evangelist who brought

body enjoyed it. The church was
in an uproar. The Lord's Supper
was administered.

other visiting friends to worship
with us.
Mrs. Angie L. Counts and sons

Our Educational Drive was a
great success.
The funeral of Mrs. Bernice
Setzle who died ip Columbia was
