solicitations, he consented and on

The Bacchantes Social club entertained
on Saturday March 21st
with*a party at the home of Mr.
and Mrs: James Gallman, 2320
Stark street. Those present were j
ihe temporary and honorary mem
bers and their quests. The club
was also honored with the presence
of two out^of-town visitors: Miss
Louise Anderson of Charleston and
Miss Madelyn Moorer of Sumter,
both of whom professed that the
evening was immensely enjoyed.
The -event was one of the most
outstanding activities of the season
for all who attended.
Mrs. Gallman was hostess at the
regular weekly meeting of the
Club, Monday evening, March 23
at her home. Mr. Leroy Brown,
the president of the organization
called the members to order and
proceeded with the affairs of the
club. V^ry little business was dis
cussed beeiiutse the meeting was a
social one. Most of the members
were present and each ekjoyed
the evening.
A delightful repast was served
