We have been wonderfully blessed-in

severe cold weather we did not
have to close school a day on account
of the "flu" or other epidemics
that are some times caused
from such conditions. Of course

have, held on fine.
Our School is progressing nicely
under the haderatiip of Principal
Jas. H. Roberts and his staff of
touchers. You will hardly find a
hotter cooperation and .working
group of colored teachers anywhere
in the State. At the present
they are working together
100 percent to get a nice library
started in the schooT?
The hot lunch project has certainly
added much to the enegy of
our student body. And the ladies
^vhro-prepare it, Mesdames "Corine
I rick and Etta Brown need ot- be
commended for th;* splendid way
in which the food is prepared and
their pleasant manner of serving
it. At first only a small number
of students were taking hot lunch,
but tlie ladies are such fine-cooks
and so clean and sanitary with it.
