school and League functioned as
usual effectively at their respective

was preached by Dr. J. S. Morant,
who selected as a text, St.
Matthew 2&th chapter, "The parable
of the talents was developed
in a gospel sermon by the speaker
Dr. Morant is one of the pioneers
in our church in South Carolina.
While not in the active ministry,
his presence at Morris Brown is
always welcomed. . Our 2nd quarterly
conference will convene on
