NEW TRINITY rapt rniTprii
Rev. B. F. Stewart, Pastor
Sunday being a very fine day
for church goers, Sunday school's
staff of officers were at their
post of duty wtih an excellent
group of young folk present. The
lesson was beautifully discussed
througlhoait thy? various cla*spee
and reviewed, by the pastor. Sunday
was marked by two excellent
i services. The pastor spoke at the
morning hour from Luke 16:13
subject "No Middle GrCvund in
Christian service." The ' pastor
very vividly proved to his listeners
that one could not serve God
and the devil, he was either a servant
of the Lord Jesus or a servant
of the devil. There is no
middle ground in Christian service.
Th? evening message was
part two of the above mentioned I
text. Everybody seemingly, enjoy- J
ed both services.
The B. T. U. met at 6:30.. The
young people as usual manifested
much Interest in the work.
There are times in our Uvea
when we net only pay a servant
for his work, but .we feel, that we
shoijld express our appreciation,b}^
giving something as a token. Sim?
day the pastor's study was In a
very disordily condition due to the
so many packages containing various
kinds of food stu{f in the (
room. The pounding which " the
members so graciously put over |
was quite a success.
Our pastor has been with i*s
twelve years and we hope hi^ stay
with us will be thrice twelve.
