Although heavy rair.s fell and
the wind blew last Saturday nite
and Sunday morning the sun was
out Ibeautifully in time for- all
church-goers to be seen winding
their way to the church. Collections
were very good. The Sunday
School opened at the usual
hour with the assistant Supt., Mr.
R. L. Rucker at his post. The excellent
attendance manifested much
interest in the lesson.
Mr. L. V. Walker of Florence
has been made superintendent in
the place of Mrs. S. N.. Martin
w!ho?resigned. Mr.?Walker was
not able to be present last Sunday
as he was colled out of the
city on account of the illness of
his sister.
