_ LEBANON PRESBYTERIAN
CHURCH
Ridgewuy, S. C.?The work oi
I the New Year began with very
impressive services at Lebanon
L Presbyterian Church Sunday, Jtm
6th. At 11:30 a. m. the pastor,
^ Rev. J. R. Dongee preached an inspiring
sermon from Psalm 103,'
the 10th verse. "He hath not dealt
with us after our sins nor rewnrd
ed us according to our iniquities.'
It was shown that the history oi
God's dealings with men as re
corded in the Old Testament, is
a story of- his long suffering- and.
of new chance3 given to those who
incurred the penalty of disobedience.
This record supports the
doctrine of multiple forgiveness
taught by Christ, who made it a
requisite for salvation. In recognition
and appreciation of Him
who, despite our errors of the
jtaat year, suffered as to enter
upon this, another year. We were
urged to give new allegiance and
increased devotion to Him who
"hath not dealt with us after our
^ sins." After the sermon the
Lord's Supper was solemnly cele f
brated. Elder J. T. Jones of Car
mel Presbytorian Church, Ch< titer,
assisted in the distribution
of the elements. ..

There were more than five thous

It was most interesting to note
their concern in things spiritual
as demonstrated through suggestions,
timely questions and full attendance
throughout the conference.
