bridge game was started. High
score's were won by Mr. Barber
and Brice, low scores by Mr.
Brown and Jackson. For the JarsT

home, "The Breeze Inn." Meeting1
was called to order by singing
the club theme song. Everything
was carried out in 'its usual way
with Miss Thelma Reed presiding.
After a brief discussion eoncern"
ng the dance to be given, Tuesday
Julv 16th at the Oddfellows Casino,
we enjoyed a talk by MrsL
Brown who will be leaving the city
soon. The girls then entered the
dining room where we were served
a delicious repast 'of hot fish,

matoes, pickles, bread and punch.
IVe were glad to have Mr. and
Mrs. Bimdv of Johnson City, Tenn'
with us also Mr. Jones, Johnson &
Hodges. Everyone expressed
themselves as having enjoyed the
evening and regret having to return

cluh held its regular meeting on
Friday night, July 5th, with the
meeting called to flrder at 8:00
o'clock by the president. Miss Ruth
Bovd. with the club song hed by
Mrs. "Daisy M. Adams. The Lord's
prayer repeated in concert, a musical
solo played by Miss Carrie.
Davis. The roll called, minutes of'
the past meetinpr read, dues paid
and the business matter discussed.
We had a new member to join* us.
Miss Eula Paul. Two visitors
were present. We were very prlad
to have them. After dismissing
calire and ice cream was served.
