in Brownsville, S. C. He was

Leven C. M. E. Church.

this union one son, was born.
He moved to Sumter, S. C.J
where he was -- enpaped in hotel
work, and was loved and_ respected
-by many friends. He mowed
to Columbia, S. C., where he was

married Miss Edna. Pari Kennedy

here every since, except a few]

The funeral services were conducted
by Rev. J. C. Anderson,
Wednesday at 9:30 a. m. at the
house. The services were short
and impressivb. The, many beautiful
floral .tributes expressed the
high esteem in. which he was held.
Mr. Rodgers was laid to rest in
the churchyard in Bennettsville,
under a beautifill mound of flowers.
