A slowly revolving mirror ball, suspended above a decorated Christ mas tree in tlhe center of the ballroom, threw spots of varicolored ipotlites upon a canopied superstructure of rdd and green streamers. artfully draped from a center square to and down the walls; "A shadow box under an arch of soft ights on the orchestra stand, and in IPT emblem of blue, white, and .fold in a sootlited above, on the apposite endrof the.ballroom, completed the lighting effect. At the entrance an autograph book berfeath a soft concentrated glow received' the guest and IPT names. In the club's five years qf organization the Reindeer Hop of this season was easily the most outstanding entertainment in its history, so acclaimed by IPT andi rmiirlr Tfre light program consisted entirely of dances, several being dedicated to guests and IPT's,.'fourteen' of whom of the twenty-etae were conspiciously present in complete satisfaction at he Hop's huge success. This is the tfirSt meeting opening for the new year. The meeting was calle<l to order by Vice Pres., Mi*. G. W. McDaniel out at its usual hour, 8:15 o'clock. The opening song was led by Mrs. Porter "You <--> ? ? miiiu. t-rayer Dy Mr. McDaniel, Scripture lesson was read by Mrs. Gladden, 23 Psalm. Singing by club. "When the evening son goes dwvn."- Another select?Qn_by_the club, selection by Mrs. Lenon. Then the meeting wSs turned over to the president, then \v6 enrolled o^jr new member. Several -remar^cs were made by different members of the club. The number of members present was 18. -The roll was called by secretary, Mrs. Kennedy. All members were ready to begin the New Year and iobey the rules and duty of thef'club. All officers were at their post of duty. Mrs. Alice Randolph highly entertained the club at her residence. ST - We" were served drinks, potato salad, cake and sandwiches. The total collection for 1934 was $544.G5. Right after the meeting the elidv put over a real party. All members enjoyed themselves and every mem ber-went home very happy.
